Diana is a Certified Environmental and Social Development Specialist and Auditor by the National Environment Management Authority. She is a certified ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) specialist.
With over 10 years experience, she is highly knowledgeable about national, regional and international social and environmental safeguards standards, regulations and operational policies of donor agencies, including; the World Bank Group, JICA, AfDB and the European Investment Bank. She has vast experience in environmental management and socio-economic development. The wide range of competence skills she has acquired over time has enabled her to significantly contribute to a wide range of projects, including; Social Impact Assessments (SIA), Assessments of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC) during implementation of development projects, Environ-mental and Social Audits, development of Environment and Social Implementation Plans, Grievance Management Plans and development of Resettlement Action Plans among others.
Key sectors she has worked in include; mining and mineral development, water transport, water resource management, tourism, general infrastructural development (majorly roads, power lines, markets, and buildings), agro-processing, animal husbandry, food and beverage processing, manufacturing industries, petroleum supply, and telecommunication systems.
